LOST THE LEAD, is an absurdist, short-form TV series centered around six strangers who become close friends through the online (and fictional) game Astralis - a Massive-Multiplayer Online RPG. 

 

More comfortable engaging with people through virtual avatars, the group is united when they discover they've each been the target of a racist eSports celebrity and YouTuber, "HAZE". 

 

True friendship is determined by those willing to accept one’s own limitation and asking for help.  As the old saying goes, “if you want to go fast go alone but if you want to go far, go together.”

 

Lost the Lead will cover themes of what it means to be present, sincere, and honest with one another and challenge our characters with the inevitability of loss and failure.
